What You’ll Need for RFID Reader Wiring

• PlugNGo™ RFID Reader

• 12VDC power supply

• Wiegand 26/34-bit cable

• Wire connectors

Quick Wiring Steps

1. Power Connection:
   Connect the red wire to +12VDC. Then, connect the black wire to Ground (-).

2. Data Connection:
   Next, attach the green wire to Data 0. After that, connect the white wire to Data 1 on your access control panel.

3. Grounding:
   Finally, connect the yellow wire to Ground. This is critical to prevent signal interference and ensure proper operation.

Best Practices for Installation

First, use shielded cables when wiring over long distances. This reduces the chance of interference.

Second, verify all connections with a multimeter before turning on the power.

Lastly, if the system does not respond, recheck the grounding and confirm that the power connections are correct.
